Show National Education Week Is From November 12-19 The theme for National Education Educa-tion Week which is Nov. 9 to 15, i3 "Children In Today's World." A daily topic for each day of the week has been given. They are: Sunday, Nov. 9, Their Church; Monday, Nov. 10, Their Homes; Tuesday, Nov. 11, Their Heritage; Wednesday, Nov. 12, Their Schools Thursday, Nov. 13, Their Country; Friday, Nov. 14, Their Opportunities; Opportun-ities; and Saturday, Nov. 14, Their Future. Each school iin Alpine School District will have a representative to work with the principal and faculty of their school to make some special observance of edu- cation week. Each building representative repre-sentative will arrange a special newspaper article for their school during NEA week. Each building representative will ask church leaders in various wards to make time available at MIA meetings for school presentations. presen-tations. Each building representative representa-tive will inform local club presidents presi-dents to assist in observance of the week. Each school group will plan their efforts to make education week observance a time for the development of a working partnership part-nership between teachers, parents, and layman. School bells will ring for parents par-ents at the Central school on Friday, Fri-day, Nov. 14 at 9 a.m. Pupils of the school will be given a holiday and parents will take their seats in classrooms. This is parents visiting vis-iting day. From 9 to 10:15 a.m. will be a PTA meeting. Prayer will be offered by Mrs. L. A. Clark. A financial fin-ancial report of the PTA will be heard and matters of vital concern con-cern will be discussed. There will be a guest speaker. Music will include vocal numbers num-bers by Stanford Ekins and piano selections by Mrs. Floyd Randall. Benediction will be by Mrs. Jean Fugal. Visiting and individual consultation consul-tation with teachers will be in line for the day. Luncheon will be served ser-ved at noon. All parents are urged to come out. Lindon school and PTA also are observing National Education week. On Wednesday evening, Nov. 12, the PTA will hold a meeting at the school, to which all patrons of the school are invited. Mrs. Willis Larson, PTA president pres-ident has announced the appointment appoint-ment of chairmen of the standing committees to assist the elected officers in carrying out their program pro-gram and projects for the year. Room representatives include Mrs. Milton Smith, with the following fol-lowing chairmen: Hospitality, Mrs. Harley Gillman; Program, Mrs. Norma Hales; Publicity and Scrap book, Mrs. Oliver Johnson; Health and Summer Roundup, Mrs. Kenneth Ken-neth R. Gillmaii; Adult Education, Mrs. Rulon Wells. Room mothers include Mrs. Lee McMillen, Mrs. Kenneth H. Gill-man, Gill-man, Mrs. Harold Ericson, Mrs. E. G.
