Show Tips on Tots The Parents Consultation Service of The Book House for Children maintains that "saying every little boy should have a,dog is like saying every child should eat spinach or take dancing lessons." The Service points out that "many small children chil-dren particularly those under five years of age, are afraid of dogs and find it emotionally disturbing to have them around." It advises that "unless a child has been reared from babyhood in a home with a dog, his parents should wait until he asks for one before they get it for him." |
