Pleasant on the home field today at 3 p. m. in an effort to break into the win column after dropping drop-ping its first two games in league play. Last Friday the young G rovers were unable to stem the tide of the big, experienced and speedy I incoln Woodchoppers, who used p-iwer saws instead of axes to cut ti e Vikings to ribbons with a s. ore of 51-0. Wasatch Academy always has a more than average team. And ail hough the Tigers lost one gamo in league play, thoy trounced cross-town North Sanpete High, 3 1-6. On the other hand American Fork trounced North Sanpete 31-0 31-0 for about the same score. ; We mention these comparative scores, because both Wasatch Academy and American Fork trounced North Sanpete by about the same tune as the Vikings tako on Wasatch today and then play American Fork next Wednesday night at 8 p. m. The game with the Cavemen was moved forward because of teachers institute in Salt Lake City on Thursday, Friday Fri-day and Saturday of next week. ! Coach Max Shii'rer said that his team will be in good shape for Wasatch with the exception of Leo Johnson, who was injured in the Lincoln game. "We n reheat re-heat on paper against Wasatch, but we are going to give all we've got to keep the score as close as possible," he said. Max will not predict how his charges will fare at American Fork because he has no idea how his team will come out of today's game against the larger, more experienced ex-perienced Tigers.
