Show Rex Gourley, H. S. Ag. Teacher Resigns Position Rex Gourley, teacher of vocational vocat-ional education in Pleasant Grove High School for the past several years ,has resigned his position because of illness, it was announced announ-ced Thursday by Principal Floyd S. Holm. Mr. Gourley, who is a native of Pleasant Grove, was unable to finish out the school year last spring because of illness and had hoped to regain his health during the summer, Principal Holm said. Mr. Gourley has ieen replaced by Grant Cornelius, Parowan, who taught vocational education in the Driggs, Idaho, high school last year. The new instructor graduated in vocational education from the Utah State Agricultural College in 1950. While at the USAC he was president of the Ag Club. Mr. Cornelius served in the military mil-itary during World War n. He is married and is the father of two children. At the present time he is commuting to Pleasant Grove from Salt Lake City until he can find quarters for his family Mr. Holm said. |
