Show Sportsmen To Hold Gun-Dog Trials March 8 Dale S. Gdbb, president of the Utah Field Trial Association announces an-nounces a special treat for the sportsmen of this locality. The boys from the Field Trial Association Assoc-iation are sponsoring a gun-dog trial to be held one mile south of the Starlite Theatre in American Ameri-can Fork. This will be a one course trial of pointing type dogs. Sportsmen will assemble at place of trial Mar. 8th at 9 a.m. Entree fees of $3.00 will be accepted and drawings for places will take place at this time. Running of dogs will follow immediately im-mediately after drawing. Judges will, be furnished by the association. Dogs will be judged on gun-dog standards. A beautiful trophy will be a-warded a-warded first place winner. Certificate Certi-ficate of wins will be awarded second sec-ond and third place winners. The State Fish and Game Department De-partment is cooperating in this event. ev-ent. The will furnish birds to be released throughout the day on the field trial grounds. This event should prove beneficial bene-ficial in more ways than one. More birds for the sportsmen next fall and a fine get-to-gether this spring.
