Show Wedding Honors Mr. And Mrs. Howard Walker At a nicely arranged church wedding June Terry, daughter of Mr .and Mrs. Ellis Terry, became the bride of Howard Walker, son of Mrs. Luella Walker and the late A. A. Walker of Pleasant Grove. Nuptial vows were spoken in the brightly decorated Firmage at 7 p. m. with Pres. Edward Burgess of Alpine Stake officiating. officiat-ing. Only near relatives and close friends were present. A reception followed at 8 o'clock o'-clock where the newlyweds and their party greeted friends and relatives. In the lineup were bride and groom, the bride's parents, the groom's mother and Arlo Walker. Walk-er. The bride, beautiful in white satin and lace carrying rose buds and carnations was attended by her sister, Mrs Alvin DeLong as matron of honor, and Joan Koh-tead, Koh-tead, Joyce Shelton, Lou Jeanne Bowen, all gowned in pastel shades and carrying matching bouquet. Glade Walker served as best man for his brother. Pretty little flower girls vwere Kay DeLong, Shirley Boren and Jolene Walker. Mr. and Mrs. LeGrande Terry welcomed friends at the door. Francis Abel as master of ceremonies cer-emonies introduced the program numbers. A vocal solo, Joan Kol-stead, Kol-stead, accordian solo, LaRae Robinson, a duet, Ruan and Jean Winters; piano selection, Inez Carran; vocal duet, Beth and Maxene Gordon. Dancing and refreshments re-freshments completed the evening even-ing festivities. Arranging the gift display were Mrs. LaVell Boren and Mrs. E. Ohran. They were assisted by Linda Boren, Janice and Connie Adamson. Mrs. Francis Abel, Mrs. Herald Kolstead, Mrs. Paul Boulten and Virginia Hum were in charge of refreshments. Serving were Annette An-nette Carter, Marcia Noyes, Na-dine Na-dine Royle, LuDell Terry handled handl-ed the guest book. The newlyweds enjoyed a short honeymoon trip to the Southern Utah Canyons, Las Vegas, and Boulder Dam and are now at home in the Moyle apartments in American Fork. |
