Show Community Fair Being Held Today; Exhibits Are Open From 12 Noon Until 9:00 P.M. Do you have your exhibit at the Community Fair. The deadline was 10-00 a.m. this morning and all exhibits ex-hibits are being judged between then and noon today, which is the official opening of the Fair for visitors vis-itors and spectators. At 1 1 :00 a.m. a program will be given at the high school auditorium for the high school students and the general public. Details of this program are printed elsewhere in this edition of the Pleasant Grove Review. At 2:00 p.m. a demonstration on Cold Packing and Home First aid will be given in the Sewing room at the high school. At 3:00 p.m. the birthday program pro-gram honoring the pioneers at the UUP Relic hall. At 7:00 p.m. this evening a band conceit will lie given at the City Park. At 9:00 p.m. all exhibits are to be Removed from the gym- From 9:30 to 12:00 p.m. Dancing in the gym- At 10:30 a floor show and drawing draw-ing for prizes. Also during the prize drawing the presentation of the registered heifer calf supplied by the Bank of Pleasant Grove will bo awarded to the winning FFA or 4-H boy. The exhibits will be open for inspection in-spection by the public from 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. and it is hoped that every person in Pleasant Grove who is able to navigate under un-der their own power will visit these exhibits. The fair is being held with the idea of aiding in community com-munity as well as individual growth and those who miss seeing it will be the losers. One of the very finest exhibits will be open at the Central School until noon today and it will do your heart good to visit there also "and see the wonderful work accomplished ac-complished by these small children, under the guidance of their teeac-ers teeac-ers and Principal Ray S. Merrill. |
