Show Utah County Sets New Safety Mark At midnight Sunday, May 19, Utah county completed 100 days without a traffic fatality. This is a remarkable achievement in the face of Utah county's record for the early months of the year and the increase of state fatalities over 1939. This splendid record was accomplished accom-plished only by the closest cooperation coopera-tion of local enforcement officers safety councils activities, state and local and civic clubs, motorists themselves and the Utah State Highway Patrol. There are six Highway Patrolmen in Utah county who patrol 157 miles of state highway every day with several sev-eral trips each week over an additional addi-tional 50 miles. This means constant con-stant vigilance on the part of the patrolmen who endeavor to keep motorists from breaking the law rather than having to arrest them for violations. Patrolmen keep this educational feature in mind at all times. T1-f?l0Wlng men are attached to the Highway Patrol in Utah county Sergeant Elmer D. Loveless; Sergeant Serg-eant L. A.
