Show Social Planned At Play School Mrs. Margaret Deveraux, teacher of the W P A play school will entertain en-tertain the pupils of her classes and their mothers at a social Friday afternoon. Although the W P A has held open house for its various projects this week, many of the patrons of the school have not availed themselves of the opportunity oppor-tunity to visit and see what is being be-ing done for the children of the community who are not old enough for regular school. Mrs. Deveraux extends a special invitation to the mothers, to come and inspect the project. The school offers no regular instruction, in-struction, since the purpose of it is to direct the play of the children, and to teach them to play constructively. con-structively. To this end a wide variety of interesting equipment is available. There is a play house, an assortment of ladies' clothing for the little girls who enjoy playing play-ing house. Educational toys, beads, blocks, modeling clay, sand tables, crayons and picture books entertain both boys and girls. In addition to this type of entertainment, enter-tainment, the children are amused with dramatizations, songs, stories, nature talks in which they become familiar with the beauties of the bees, butterflies, birds, and flowers, and a rhythm band.
