Show Strawberry Day Rodeos " Show Profit A net profit of $3,605.70 was made on the Strawberry Day Rodeos Ro-deos according to a report made Tueseday evening by Harvey Smith secretary, at a meeting of the stockholdres held at the rodeo J grounds. The meeting was in charge char-ge of President Neldon Lim. With a total investment of a little over $36,000 in real estate and improvements, the net profit of $3605.70 Is very satisfactory, and is termed by a number of the stockholders as showing a good Income In-come on the total Investment, however, how-ever, the Income was, used to pay off obligations. There has already been stock of $25,400 sold and a motion was ' passed Tuesday evening by the stockholders to sell additional stock up to $36,000, which will clear off all obligations and give the board some funds to make additional ad-ditional Improvements at the grounds. With Utah Strawberry Day coming com-ing among the first celebrations of the year, and with our rodeo being the finest show In the state during the past season, there is ho doubt as to the outcome of the annual rodeo. The reputation gained this year will carry over next year, and if the same fine show and the same amount of enthusiasm is put into the celebration that was engendered engen-dered into it this year, we are on our way to a financially successful undertaking. It is also proposed to go into other features of entertainment, such as midget auto racing and narness racing, inese iwo entertainment enter-tainment features are fast becoming becom-ing popular sporting events in other oth-er states, and especially is midget racing going over big in a number of California cities. ;..
