Show PL Grove News Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Galle of Mid- way were Sunday guests 'of Mrs. Galle's sister and brother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Fugal. Mrs. Lydia Lund of Salt Lake City visited last week wth her daughter and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Kirk and family. John C. Christensen one of the aged pioneers ofPleasant Grove is confined to his bed with illness at the home of his son and daughter-in daughter-in law, Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Christensen. ENTERTAIN FOR BRIDE Mrs. Curtis Young entertained a number of friends at an informal party Thursday evening in honor of her daughter Mrs. Carl Max, Nee Marjorie Young, who was married mar-ried on October 10. ' Games were played, refreshments refresh-ments served and a very enjoyable evening spent, and the young lady received lovely and useful gifts. Among the girls friends present were Mrs. Fern College, Miss Cleo Haddock Mrs. Dorothy Dixon, Miss i Ruby Davis Miss Cora Richins, and Miss Mary Fugal. Mrs. Max wil make her home here while her husband has returned retur-ned to his duties with the U. S. army air corp in Mississippi. |
