Show Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Jacobs returned Sunday evening from a two-weeks trip to Palo Alto and San Francisco California. At Palo Alto they visited wth their son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Roland Jacobs and son Dennis. The Jacobs report that California is feeling the effects of the war much more than Utah; that their -rationing is much more severe, their being a real scarcity of meat and many other things which - before have been plenttiful. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Clayton of Salt Lake City were Pleasant Grove visitors Monday. Mr. Clayton's Clay-ton's returned wth them and will visit at heir home. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Stewart and little daughter Gerraline left Sunday Sun-day for Lubbick, Texas, where they will visit with Mr. Stwart's father Ira Stewart and other relatives. relat-ives. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Smith and son Craig visited in Provo Sunday with Mrs. Smith's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Heber C. Farr. . |
