Show FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. KING Impressive funeral services were iheld Sunday November 22 in. the Third Ward L. D. S. Chapel, for Mrs. Oris Hatch King, who died Tuesday at the home of her sister Mrs. Claude Saton at Vernal. The services under the direction of the ward bishopric began at 2 o'clock with Bishop Joseph S. Walker in charge. The opening number was a vocal duet, "Face To Face" sung by Mrs. Ed. H. Hardiman and Mrs. Leland Beers. Invocation was offered by Bishop Jacob Lybert. Speakers who offered words of sympathy and encouragement were Bishop Burton H. Adams, Stanley Griffin and Ray S. Merrill, all of whom paid tribute to the fine character and ideals of Mrs. King and her husband and voiced sympathy sym-pathy and encouragement for those bereaved. Other musical numbers included includ-ed a second duet "In The Garden" by Mrs. Hariman and Mrs. Beers; a string trio, "Going Home" by Miss Winona and Miss Romona Monson and Miss Carol Clark, and the doing duet: "If We Could See Beyond Today" by Mrs. Lydia Hilton Hil-ton & Mrs. Ethel Carlson, accompanied accom-panied by the string trio. Bishop Walker made the closing remarks and C. J. Hilton pronounced pronoun-ced the benediction. rrclude and postlude music was furnished by the string trio. Burial took place in the Pleasant Grove cemetery, where Niel Y. Fugal of the 3rd Ward Bishopric offered the dedicatory prayer. Pall bearers were Arthur Bush, Stanley Griffin, BerrieU Hatch. Eugene Strnssburg, Edwin Dan-cliff, Dan-cliff, and Dunne Kcctch. |
