Show Highland News The M Men and Gleaner Girls and special guests were entertained at a fireside chat at the home of Bishop and Mrs. Harry Jerling Sunday Sun-day evening after conjoint meeting. Don Mack Dalton was a speaker. Refreshments were served and a very interesting and enjoyable evening was spent by those in attendance. Mrs. Richard D. West left last week for Seattle, Wash., where she will join her husband who is stationed sta-tioned at Fort Lewis. J. LaGrand Adamson is able to be up again after being confined to his home and at the Utah Valley Val-ley hospital with illness. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Hall spent Saturday in Salt Lake City on business. busi-ness. James Hall left Tuesday for Og-den Og-den where he will be employed. Orson Hyde was a visitor of the Lincoln ward of Salt Lake City Sunday Sun-day evening. Among those who attended sessions ses-sions at the Salt Lake temple Monday Mon-day were Ellen Jerling, Mr. and Mrs. David Strassburg, Ludwig Larson, Lar-son, Emily Hyde and Jessie Hyde; Henrietta Larson visited at the library, li-brary, and Mrs. Fredricka Strassburg Strass-burg and daughter, Marva, visited with relatives during the day. Don Healey, son of Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Healey, met with an accident acci-dent last week. He was riding a horse when the horse fell with him, breaking his right leg just above the ankle. His many friends wish him a speedy recovery. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Jacobs of Los Angeles, Cal., announce the arrival ar-rival of a baby daughter, born at at Los Angeles hospital on Sunday, May 3. Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Adamson Adam-son are the proud grandparents. |
