YEARBOOK The yearbook staff has finally made the important announcement. The "coming out" of the yearbook. The date will, in all probability, be Monday, May 11. GRADUATION All seniors are eagerly awaiting commencement which will be held I Thursday, May 14, at the Pleasant Grove high school. R. Mitchell; mixed chorus. is giving the tea and 30 . girls and their mothers will be the guests. Besides Mrs. Day those who are on the committee are: Mrs. Alfred Rogers, Mrs. Karl Banks, Mrs. W. C. Smith, Mrs. Irwin Jensen and Mrs. Lyean Johnson. ' PLEASANT GROVE TO BE REPRESENTED AT STATE MEET Pleasant Grove high school will send one participant to the state track meet to be held Saturday at the Utah stadium in Salt Lake. In order to qualify for the state meet a man must win a first, second or third place in some event in the . county meet. Lloyd Walker qualified by winning first place in the 200 yard low hurdles, and second place in the pole vault. GIRLS' DAY A gay time was had by every one at the Girls' day dance last Friday Fri-day night. In the daytime the girls favored I the boys with a Hillbilly assembly , and with a sack lunch at noon. The band mothers, through then-hard then-hard efforts cleared 100 dollars at their hot dog stand on Alpine day. The proceeds will go to . help with the band uniforms and other band expenses. SENIOR GIRLS TEA The annual senior girls' tea is to be held Saturday between the hours of 4 p. m. and 6 p. m. at the home of Mrs. Joseph Day, who is the . chairman. The Ladies' Faculty club |
