Those present were Miss Grace Cheever of Provo, Mary A. Johnson of Salt Lake City, and Miss Estelle Fenton of this city. Mr. Ernest Clayton of Salt Lake City spent Arbor day at Pleasant Grove visiting with his mother, Mrs. S'tena C. Christensen. Mrs. George Larson has registered ' at the B. Y. U. for the class in! Mr. and Mrs. Vilace Radmall, and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hilton spent Thursday of last week in Salt Lake visiting Mrs. Edna Robinson, a sister sis-ter of Mrs. Hilton's who is in the L. D. S. hospital recovering from an operation. They also spent several hours in the L. D. S. temple. Mrs. W. D. Brinkerhoff of Bick-nell, Bick-nell, Wayne county, who came to see her sister, Mrs. Edna Robison, who is recovering from an operation at the L. D. S. hospital at Salt Lake City, spent the week-end at the home of Mrs. Sam Hilton, another sister. Mrs. Brinkerhoff's children were with her. Mr. and Mrs. William Smith and daughter, Carol, and their guests,' Mr. and Mrs. Carl Eyring and family fam-ily of Provo, motored to the Cave camp in American Fork canyon Saturday Sat-urday where they cooked Easter dinner, and hiked. Mrs. Berniece Christensen attended attend-ed a party for Utah county nurses given by Mrs. Loy Doss, school nurse of the Alpine District, at her home in Orem on Monday evening. Jean Loader, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Loader, entertained at a Mi-. S. L. Rogers, formerly of Snowflake, Arizona, but now living in Vineyard, were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. William Smith on Easter S'unday. Mrs. L. P. Harvey entertained the officers and teachers of the Third ward M. I. A. at her home on Wednesday Wed-nesday evening. Plans for the coming com-ing month were formulated and a well arranged luncheon was served, j dinner-dancmg party at the family home Saturday evening of last week in honor of Max Skinner of Lehi. Mi'. Skinner left Thursday to fill a mission to the Northwestern states. Dinner was served to twenty guests, after which the young couples attended the dance at American Amer-ican Fork. Following the dance, a late supper was served at Miss Loader's home. |
