Show Funeral Service For Mrs. Chapman Held Wednesday Mrs. Frank Richins and her brothers broth-ers Harry and Glen Chapman, in company with her sister Mrs. Ro-wena Ro-wena Doyle went to Mount Emmons Wednesday to attend the funeral of their mother, Mrs. Rosa Ferguson Chapman who died at her home in Pleasant Grove at 10 a. m. Sunday, following an illness of about five days. Death came as a result of sarcoma. Mrs. Chapman, widow of the late Thomas M. Chapman, was born at Washington, Davis county, Indiana, October 11, 1877. She had lived in Utah for thirty-seven years, most of which time was spent at Mount Emmons. For eight years before moving to Pleasant Grove in 1937 she was employed at the Indian school at White Rocks. Surviving her, in addition to the two sons and daughters mentioned above, are three other daughters, Mrs. Virgil Hafen of Springville, Mrs. Leslie Houtz of Roosevelt, and Mrs. Ray Gardiner of Neola, Utah, and a brother, John Ferguson of Salt Lake. |
