Show i Ten Years Ago ! Now (Taken from files of July 12, 1924) Ten Years Ago Now Hard boiled gun bandits paid our city a visit yesterday morning. Jack j Robinson had the pleasure of meet-'ing meet-'ing the persuasive gentlemen, a pair I of them, each armed with a large calibre pistol. After convincing Jack of their mission they relieved the Cobblestone station register of be-1 twoen forty and fifty dollars in silver and took a ten dollar bill and some change off Jack. Officers were soon i on the job and within five hours had the pair in the Lehi jail. Ten Years Ago Now Ideal summer weather, no serious accidents and events that moved along like clockwork all combined to make our July 3rd and 4th celebration celebra-tion one of extreme pleasure to all. ' Ten Years Ai'.o Now A mid-night prowler which for some time had disturbed the slumber of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Pax man was captured early Sunday morning. The mid-night visitor proved to be a large porcupine. Ten Years Ago Now Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Clark of Alpine Al-pine entertained Tuesday in honor of the 87th birthday of Mrs. Angela Vance, mother of Mrs. Clark. |
