Show Utah County Valuations Show Decrease The total assessment for Utah county this year is $42,391,609, which is $173,772 less than the $42,562,381 in 1933. Valuations on lots, lands,, improvements improve-ments and state lands, as condu.-ced. under direction of Mr. Atwood, v.-.-nt clown from the $26,766.80 of 1J3 fcj the $26,501,381 this year-, which accounts ac-counts for the reduction of the total to-tal in spite of the sizable increase in corporate property assessment. This year the assessment in corporate corpo-rate property within the county was $15,890,228, as compared with the $15,798,576 of last year. The assessment on corporate property prop-erty this year is divided, as follows, according to the figures in Mr. Tut-tle's Tut-tle's office: Automobile passenger and freight companies, $12,241; car companies, $209,065; express companies, com-panies, $2,180; gas companies, $171,-958; $171,-958; power companies, $3,918,010; railroad companies, $9,052,536; telegraph tele-graph companies, $76,303; telephone companies, $482,338; mining properties, proper-ties, $1,965,597. Details of the 1934 assessment reduction re-duction were issued from the offices of L. M. Atwood, county assessor, and Ammont Tuttle, county auditor. Mr. Tuttle recently received the corporate cor-porate property assessment figures from the state office. |
