Show Lesser Priesthood Takes Outing Trips In commemoration of the anniversary anni-versary of the restoration of the Aaronic Priesthood the members ol the Lesser priesthood quorums of the wards of the Alpine stake enjoyed en-joyed group trips last Saturday. The First ward boys accompanied by Bishop T. A. Greenwood, S. F. Grant, O. C. Mercer, C. A. Grant and Jack Iverson went to the C"C camp in American Fork canyon urday afternoon. Buckwaltcr Journeyed to Clarkston, Utah, where together with hundreds hund-reds of other priesthood members from the state they Joined in services ser-vices held at the grave of Martin Harris, commemorating his 151st birthday. Martin Harris, one of the three witnesses of the Book of Mormon, is buried near Clarkston. There were 32 in all, including; three from Highland and two from the First ward. The Third ward group enjoyed an overnight trip to Mirror Lake.! There were 32 in the party chaper-! oned by Bishop Frank G. Shelley, Charles Walker and Ray Lee, and they left here Friday afternoon returning re-turning late Saturday afternoon. Thirty -three members from the Fourth ward also made the trip to Clarkston, accompanied by Bishop Lot Robinson, J. W. Phillips, H. E. McNicl, J. O. Meeks and Murray Murdock. The Alpine ward members took a trip to Salt Lake and were escorted es-corted around the city to various places of church and civic interest. A |
