Show j strawberry Day Committees Arranging For Big Time parade Committee Especially Active.! Free Strawberries Part of the Big ' Dtty's Celebration; Windshield Stickers To Be Seen Everywhere. qtrawberry Day committees are working hard to put over their share of the annual Strawberry Day celebration, cele-bration, June 11. A splendid radio program is plan- ) ne(1 to be given soon as a part o the advertising campaign. More than twelve thousand strawberry windshield wind-shield stickers will also be distributed distribut-ed for advertising purposes. One thousand booklets are to be mailed to prominent citizens throughout the state. The Parade committee have outlined out-lined a large number of floats so far, many others will be asked to aid in this feature of the day. The parade up to date consists of the following business men and houses who have promised floats: Bazil Walker, Busy ( Corner Store, Boren Market, Clark I -ana TCemn and Frampton, Charles prizes will be given. Three classes of tests are to be as follows : A All teams weighing under 2500 pounds. B All teams weighing 2500 pound to 3000 pound. C All teams weighing over 3000 pound. Dr. B. C. Linebaugh will have charge of the horse racing. H. V. Swenson, William L. and Ar-vel Ar-vel Green are in charge of the ball game which is to be between Provo and American Fork. Other ball park activities will also be under their direction. A number of fine Rodeo stunts will be given. Lewis Olpin has charge o the concessions and finance. According to reports plenty of novelty booth's are being sold. Everyone is busy on their part of the program to make the day larger than any of the previous ones. George L. Smith, president of the Chamber of Commerce and general gene-ral chairman of the celebration is busy checking up on the various committees that no part of the day's celebration will be neglected. The dynometer has been secured from the U. A. C. and Leonard Walker and Mr. Richards will have charge of It at the ball park.
