Show H. S. Graduation Ceremonies Cere-monies To Be Next Thur., May 23, In Tabernacle Professor Herbert Maw, Dean of men of the University of Utah, will deliver the commencement address to the graduating class of the American Fork high school at their graduating exercises next Thursday evening, May 23, in the Alpine Stake, Tabernacle. Taber-nacle. The ceremonies will commence promptly at 8 p. in. The valedictory address will be given by Miss Virginia Eggertson. The graduates will be presented by Principal tfesse M. Walker, and the diplomas will be awarded by Supt. David Gourley. The following is the outlined program pro-gram for the evening's exercises: Preliminary music High School orchestra. Organ solo Miss Alice Parker. Invocation Eli J. Clayson. Reports Supt. Gourley and Principal Princi-pal Walker. Piano solo Miss Helen Moffett. Valedictory address Miss Virginia Eggertson. : ; Selection Male Glee' Of High School. Address to graduates Prof. Her-Dert Her-Dert Maw. String quartet High School. Presentation of diplomas Supt. Gourley. Selection Ladies Glee Club. Benediction Bernell Watkins. According to last reports, the graduating class will comprise 56 members. Following the exercises, the traditional tradi-tional commencement dance will be held, to which the high school students stud-ents and patrons are given a. most cordial invitation to attend. |
