Robertson as chairman of the Parade committee has selected the following committee, most of whom have had expierence in the work, to assist him: S. D. Lewis Olpin has charge of the Finance and Concessions. The merry-go-round and ferris wheel have already al-ready been signed up for their usual space. Mr. Olpin's complete committee commit-tee has not yet been listed. F. D. Atwood cooperating with the firemen has charge of the decorations. Mrs. Atwood is also to assist in the ball park entertainment. Clifton Clark and his committee will arrange plenty of grove entertainment enter-tainment and evening features. Robert Walker and his committee have change of the Strawberry Queen contest. con-test. Fred C. Shoell and his committee will have charge of the serving of free berries to the thousands of people peo-ple who attend this festival every year. H. V. Swenson has charge of the sports and rodeo program. Every committee is enthused with the work and will put forth every effort to make Strawberry Day the Diggest celebration ever heM in this city. |
