Show New City Park Advocated Here A number of citizens are discussing discuss-ing the advisibility of securing a larger city park for American Fork thru the acquiring of the late Wm. Robinson property between the city library and the present park. It is pointed out that this is the opportune oppor-tune time to make the move and enlarge en-large our present park. Some have advanced, the thought that the park should be named the Robinson park -in memory of this pioneer figure, generally known as "Curley Bill Robinson" by the older citizens. Some concerted public effort should be made to get this community commu-nity project before the city council. It has been suggested that the task be undertaken by the Daughters of the pioneers, by the ladies clubs of the city, by the city officials, by some church organization or by tne Lions club. Who ever assumes the responsibility of the project it should be done at once, is the general feeling feel-ing of the interested citizens. |
