Show Ten Years Ago Now (Taken from files of Sept. 4, 1926) Twenty carloads of peaches have been shipped from Pleasant Grove during the past two weeks, ten carloads car-loads going to Los Angeles and the balance to eastern markets. Three (cars of pears were also put c.n the 1 market from' this district. Ten Years Ago Now Since the opening of the new theatre the management has locked lock-ed forward to the installing of a Photo Player which is now in perfect per-fect running order. Skillfully operated op-erated it sounds the same as a twelve piece orchestra and is n.t excelled by any other of its kind in the state. Ten Years Ago Now Mr. and Mrs. Ole Anderson entertained enter-tained Friday evening at a wedding reception in honor of their daughter. Myrtle, who was married September 1 to Elmer S. Johnson of Sandy. Ten Years Ago Now Mr. and Mrs. F. S. Humphries accompanied ac-companied their daughter, Inez, and Cyril Anderson of Lehi to the Salt Lake temple Wednesday to be present pres-ent at their marriage. The young couple will make their home in Salt Lake. Ten Years Ago Now School will begin in the Alpine District Tuesday of next week. The teachers have been assigned to their various grades and it is felt that this year should surpass any previous prev-ious in the high standard of work planned to be accomplished. n |
