Show Fathers-Sons Outing Success Over one hundred fathers and sons of the First ward were in attendance at-tendance at the party given them under the direction of the Y. M. M. I. A. of the ward last Tuesday night. A baseball game between a picked team of fathers and sons team opened the affair, with the contest being declared a tie. A tug of war was won by the fathers. This came early in the evening and was followed at dark by a rousing camp-fire program. The fire was built by special permission of the city in the middle of the street east of the chapel and seats had been arranged around it. Songs, readings read-ings and stories were the order of entertainment. President C. E. (Young, who told' a story, Roy Greenwood; C. A. Grant and Junius Jun-ius A. West were the stake visitors present. A weiner roast and melon bust followed the program. |
