Show Congressman Robinson to Talk Tonight Congressman J. will Robinson of Provo will be the speaker to night (Friday) in the mass meeting meet-ing arranged by the Public Speakers Speak-ers Bureau of the local N. R. A. committee. Congressman Robinson, Robin-son, in the light of his congressional congress-ional experience in Washington, D. C, should have some real information informa-tion for the people of our community commun-ity not only concerning the NRA plan, but other national questions troubling the people today. The meeting will be held in the Alpine stake tabernacle auditorium and the people of Lehi, Pleasant Grove and the adjacent settlements are invited to attend. It will commence com-mence at 8 o'clock prompt. A splendid musical program has also been arranged by the commit-tee, commit-tee, consisting of the following numbers: Community singing led by K. J. Bird; two selections by the Pleasant Grove string ensemble, Mrs. C. O. Jensen, Mrs. H. P. Jones, Mrs Leland Clark, Alfred Swenson and Ford Paulson; a vocal vo-cal solo, "The Flag Without A Stain," by Miss Mildred Chipman, a banjo solo, "The Stars and Stripes Forever," by Carl Bennett. Every citizen of American Fork is earnestly urged to be present at this meeting. When so much of the future welfare of our nation depends upon the success of the NRA it behooves one and all to know what it's all about. n |
