Show CWA Remains At Forty-four ! Amercian Fork's CWA work list remained at forty-four for this week, thirteen being employed on the lleeion building and the balance on the road improvement project. This number is the total on both county ; and city projects in this section. Chairman James H. Clarke announc- ' ed yesterday that no material change is expected at once but that all pr ! jects are expected to be completed by I April 1st. j The F. E. R. A. committee is func-i func-i ticning weekly with distribution of ; food and other types of aid. Last Thursday 155 f amalies received di-1 di-1 rect help in food distribution and yesterday another allotment of eggs, I butter and park was given out. I Wednesday of this week forty-one jwere given dental examinations and i records made but funds will provide ! for only extractions and so this is I all that is being done. This service is given by local dentists. A meeting of the ladies in charge of this work in the American Fork district was held Wednesday. Twelve workers were given instructions. Mrs. Maud Thornton and Miss Melba Barratt gave demonstrations on the precautions to be taken in entering homes where contagious diseases prevail; Mrs. Elodia Roberts gave a book review and Mrs. Ora Chipman gave methods and processes of family fami-ly case work. |
