Show Second Ward Relief Society to Present Play The Second ward Relief Society play committee will present "Those Dreadful Twins," Friday evening, March 23. Mrs. Mabel Swenson is in charge of the play, which promises prom-ises to be a "scream" from start to finish. The story: Mrs. Josephine Brown hears that Josiah Brown has recently moved to town. Sh-3 thinks that he Is her husband who deserted her and her small twins, years ago. Determined Deter-mined that he shall help care for them, she sends them to his home. Josiah hires Beckie Green, the village old maid and gossip, to take care of the twins, thinking they are his sister's children. The twins get into every mischief they can think of. They give the sheriff sleeping drops when he visits the deacon. They dope the lemonade at the picnic pic-nic and make the two deacons very ill. They play dozens of other pranks too numerous to mention. At last their mother finds out that Josiah Brown is not then-father then-father and she takes the twins home. The ladies have been rehearsing for several weeks. |
