Show Death Claims Former Resident Eli Forbes Bailey, a former resident resi-dent of American Fork, died at a Salt Lake hospital Monday following a few days illness from poisoning, contracted while painting a house with a spray gun. For the past year Mr. Bailey has been living with his mother, Mrs. Olive Bailey Young, 240 Almond street, Salt Lake, before which time he lived in Los Angeles where he worked as -a commercial artist. He was born in American Fork, March 15, 1009, the son of Eli H. and Olive Forbes Bailey, and grandson of the former Joseph E. Forbes of this city. After his father's death his mother remarried. Surviving are his mother, two brothers, Paul D. Bailey, Los Angeles; Ange-les; Charles K. Bailey, Astoria, Oregon; three sisters, Mrs. Phyllis B. Bennett, Sheldon, Washington; Mrs. Anna O. Textorius and Edith M. Bailey of Salt Lake. Funeral services are being held today to-day at 2 p. m. in Salt Lake City. o |
