Show Favors the Building Build-ing of Deer Creek The water users of American Fork Irrigation Company have before them the question as to whether or not they shall subscribe sub-scribe for stock in the proposed Deer Creek project. The people of this community, for a number of years past, have been conscious consc-ious of the fact that our agricultural agri-cultural lands are short of water and last year this lack of suffi-c suffi-c i e n t irrigation water was brought very forcibly before them. As it appears to me, the Deer Creek project offers the only solution to the problem at this time. The matter has been given very careful consideration by men who are thoroughly familiar with the project. These men are of unquestioned integrity and their recommendation is unhesitatingly un-hesitatingly that the reservoir be built. This project, if undertaken, is to be financed primarily by the Government and paid for by the water users over a long x?riod of time with easy payments. It seems to me, therefore, as water users and as a community, that we cannot afford to pass up this opiwrtimity. It moans not only the providing of ample irrigation irriga-tion water, but aUo the expenditure expendi-ture of hundreds of thousands of dollars for labor and material, and American Fork is bound to profit very materially through this great undertaking.
