Show o Beautiful Wedding Reception Given Local Bride A social function of charm and delight was the wedding reception tendered toy Mr. and Mrs. Roy ' Greenwood at the Apollo Hall Wednesday Wed-nesday evening, complimenting their : daughter, Melissa Von, and Glen Robinson, son of Mr and Mrs. Nate 1 Robinson, who were married Wednesday Wed-nesday morning in the Salt Lake temple. Over 500 guests, including a number num-ber from out of town, were in attendance. at-tendance. The hall was decorated as an old fashioned garden, the bridal bri-dal party standing against a background back-ground of flowers. Mr. and Mrs. Greenwood and Mr. and Mrs. Robinson greeted the guests and escorted them to the bridal party consisting of LaVell Singleton, best man; the groom and bride; Mrs. Helen Singleton, matron of honor, and Miss Fern Greenwood, maid of honor, Mrs. Myrtle Moffett, Miss Beth Hutchings and Miss Fern Robinson were the bridesmaids. The bride was exquisitely gowned in white satin and lace and carried a bouquet of white lilies with silver ribbons. Mrs. Singleton was dressed in peach silk crepe and Miss Greenwood's Green-wood's gown was green. They both had a corsage of sweet peas and rose buds to harmonize with their dresses. Mrs. Moffett was gowned in blue, Miss Hutchings in pink and Miss Robinson white with pink flowers, flow-ers, the corsage were similar to those of the maids of honor. Refreshments under the direction of Mrs. Myrle McGrew, Mrs. Vern Koley, Mrs. Thelma Jones and Mrs. Glen Boley were passed by Mary Walton, Barbara Pett, Irene Jones, Dorothy Greenwood. Millie Greenwood. Green-wood. Margaret Dunklcy, Beth Ellison, Elli-son, Helen Smith, Ruth Woodhouse, Verda Miller and Al!ine Frank, Mrs. Warren Boley and Mrs. Roy Steele were in charge of the display of the numerous handsome gifts. |
