Show V High School News The following program was presented pre-sented here Tuesday by students of the Brigham Young University: Girl's chorus, "The Star" and "Jenanenamia" Vocal solo ....Florence Woodhouse Talk B. F. Cummings, Prof. of Foreign Languages Piano solo Darling Sudoni Girl's chorus singing "The Clocks" At the conclusion of the program, Professor Cummings met with all Senior students to extend to them an invitation to attend the Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University. Activities for Girl's Day commenced com-menced with the following "all girl's" program, Friday morning, Ladies Glee singing "The Water Sprites" Prayer ..Gwendolyn Richans Cello solo ...Edith Clarke Reading Margaret Dunkley Vocal solo Virginia. Taylor Talk Miss Bessie Newman Stunt by the following girls: Margaret Mar-garet Cox, Rose Conder, Edith Chad-wick, Chad-wick, Zola Grant, Erma Watkins, Glee Smith, Helen Hokanson, Jessie Butte, Affra McNiel, Ethel Dean, Donna Wootton, Elva Morse and Viva Peterson. Piano solo Lydia Olsen Vocal solo Fern Robinson In the afternoon a Fashion Review Re-view and Tea were held for all high school girls and their mothers-The mothers-The apparel was furnished by J- C-Penney C-Penney Company, Chipman Mercantile Mer-cantile and Lill's Style Shop. Ninth grade girls also furnished for the Review, dresses they had recently completed in their Domestic Art class. The following program was included in-cluded in the Review: Ladies trio, reading, Helen Hicks; solo, Fern Robinson; Cello solo, Edith Clarke. After the Review mothers and their daughters were invited to the Tea, which was held in the faculty room. A Girl's Day dance with girls acting act-ing as escorts, completed the events of the day. n |
