Show o Local Man Gets State Position West Hammond of American Fork was named one of the nine Utah men which comprise the Board of Directors of the newly organized Utah Farm Production Credit association, asso-ciation, which was formed for the purpose of taking care of all farm production loans and small livestock live-stock loans. The organization is to be a permanent one to replace such temporary organizations as the Regional Reg-ional Seed Loan Associatin, etc. Mr. Hammond states that within a week or ten days machinery will be set in motion whereby applications applica-tions may be received for such loans. Local application committees commit-tees and inspectors are being organ- ized as rapidly as possible in the various counties of the state. The association is capitalized at $500,000 1 which give a loaning capacity of $2,500,000.00.
