Show Mower Addresses State Meetings Of Farm Bureau Bureau offices and the New hotel. Mrs. Mary K. Mower American Pork, chairman of the Section, was in general charge. A board of directors' meeting was hefd the morning. After short business session, President Ward C Holbrook of the Farm Bureau chs cussed the direct primary law. Mrs. Ella B Reeder, state Home and Community legislative chairman talked on "Why Rural Women Should be interested in Legislate. Mrs. Mary K. Mower briefly Discussed Dis-cussed "Our Part in the Build Utah Program" and "The .Urgent Need of Cooperative Education . At tne o'clock session the women's public sneaking contest was conducted in he ivory room of the Newhouse hotel with Mrs. Helen Rasmussen presiding. The contest subject was "Better Schools for Rural America . The state winner will represent Utah in the contest at the regiona convention at Yellowstone national park, June 23, 24 and 25. The winner of the public speaking speak-ing contest will appear over radio station K. D. Y. L. Saturday morning, morn-ing, from 11:15 to 11:30, delivering the winning essay. rw- |
