Show Last Rites For Former Resident Conducted Here Funeral services for Alvin Sylvester Syl-vester McDaniel, 61, who died in Blackfoot, Idaho, Thursday of last week, were conducted Sunday afternoon after-noon in the Third L. D. S. ward chapel. Bishop Frank G. Shelley was in charge. The services follow: Duet, "Sometime, "Some-time, Somewhere", Mrs. Leon Wag-staff Wag-staff and Mrs. Clara Rhodes; solo, "When the Sun Goes Down", Ray Shelley; biographical sketch, read by Lawrence R. Halverson, a son-in-law; remarks, James Healey of Alpine, Al-pine, a life-long friend of the family; fami-ly; remarks, Bishop Francis J. Halverson, Hal-verson, of Blackfoot, Idaho; remarks, re-marks, Bishop Frank G. Shelley; duet, "Whispering Hope", Erma Bateman and Cleon Cleghorn; benediction, bene-diction, John Whitby of Alpine. The grave was dedicated by John Hunt- er. Mr. McDaniel is survived by his wife, Alice Hunter McDaniel, and four sons and daughters, Mrs. Luel-la Luel-la Halverson and Carl McDaniel of Blackfoot, and Earl McDaniel and Mrs. Roy Malbone of Pocatello. n |
