Show Follow-Up After Preschool Clinic Urged ly Nurse According to reports of 1'arent-Teachers 1'arent-Teachers associations of Llndon and Pleasant Grove, the preschool examinations exam-inations recently held were highly successful. These conferences, In which a total of sixty-four children, who will enter school for the first time next fall, wero examined by both doctors and dentists, were made possible through the cooperation coopera-tion of the Parent-Teachers associations, associa-tions, medical and dental societies of Utah County and Public Health District IV of the Utah State Board of Health. Mrs. Loy Doss, district nurse, said the number of children who entered school for the first time in this area last year was elghty-slx. "This would Indicate that probably many of the children eligible did not attend at-tend these conferences," she said. "Those children should be protected from communicable diseases by vaccination vac-cination and Immunization, If not previously protected. Those who have not been protected, however, are risking the danger of these diseases. di-seases. We should strongly urge that all children who did not attend these conferences be examined by their family dentist and doctor before be-fore entering school and any defects de-fects corrected". "We wish to emphasize that finding find-ing the defects is of no value unless they are corrected".
