Sponsor Silver Tea For Monument Drive Daughters of Utah Pioneers of the American Fork and Adams camps will sponsor a silver tea, Friday, Fri-day, June 16, in the Legion hall, officers announced this week. Proceeds from the tea will go toward to-ward the construction of a monument monu-ment commemorating the free public pub-lic school established in American Fork in the 1860's. This project was adopted by the Daughters of Utah Pioneers some time ago, and a drive for funds is being carried forward, to make possible its successful completion. com-pletion. An expensive silk-covered quilt will be given away at the affair, it was announced. The quilt will be on display during the coming week at the Chipman Mercantile company. com-pany. o |
