Show LOCAL WOMAN TO ENTER S. L. CONTEST Mrs. E. Ray Gardner of American Fork will participate in a women's public speaking contest, sponsored by the Home and Community department depart-ment of the Utah State Farm Bureau, Bu-reau, Monday, June 12, at 2 p. m., in the Newhouse Hotel, Salt Lake City. The subject of her address will be: "The Farmer's Stake in World Peace." Mrs. Burton W. Musser of Salt Lake City, one of Utah's outstanding women who is nationally and internationally inter-nationally known for contributions she has made in the interests of world peace, will address the assembly assemb-ly following the contest. The winner of the state contest and other states' winners will compete com-pete in the western regional convention con-vention at Santa Cruz, California. The regional winners will compete at the national contest at Chicago. |
