Ten Years Ago Now Windsor ward held their annual Old Folks day and Ward Reunion at their chapel. Saturday, February 11th. A delicious hot chicken dinner din-ner was served at noon, after which a very entertaining program was enjoyed. In the evening the old folks were guests at the play "The Old Fashioned Mother." presented by the M. I. A. of the Windsor ward. Ten Years Ago Now The Pleasant Grove Second ward defeated the Lehi Third ward by the score of 20 to 13 and will play the winner of the American Fork district dis-trict for the championship of the Alpine Stake "M" Men's league. Ten Years Ago Now Try-outs at the local high school for a place on this year's debating team resulted as follows: Mariam Warnick, Lovetta Anderson, Dale Peterson and Gennieve Fugal. The subject for debate will be "Resolved That Instalment Buying Should be Condemned." Ten Years Ago Now Dr. J. L. Huchel, popular and energetic en-ergetic booster of our city, was chosen to head the Pleasant Grove Chamber of Commerce for the year 1928 at the banquet held Monday evening for the executive committee commit-tee and their partners.
