Show Mrs. Mary Walker Called By Death Mrs. Mary Jane zabriskie Walker, 70, wife of Martin B. Walker, fruit dealer of Orem, died at the hospital at 9 p. m. Tuesday following a two months illness. Mrs. Walker was born at Spring City, Utah, November 14, 1863, daughter of Catherine Johnson, and John Henry Zabriskie, and was married mar-ried to Martin B. Walker at the Manti temple, May 11, 1892. She has been an active church worker having hav-ing served as a Relief Society teacher teach-er and counselor in the Primary, also a loving and devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. Vida Lystrup, Vineyard; Murvel Walker, Mrs. Ethea Rollins, Earl and Merrill Walker, Orem; Mrs. Jane Elsmore, Salt Lake; Mrs. Leda Anderson, American Fork; and Mrs. Inez Colledge, Tooele; 36 grandchildren grand-children and 19 greatgrandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Hulda Allred, Spring City, and three brothers, Lewis and Isaac Zabriskie, Spring City, and Jesse Zabriskie of Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be held at the Windsor ward chapel at 2 p. m. Sunday with Bishop Stanley B. Harris in charge. Friends may call at the home Saturday evening and Sunday until time of funeral services. ser-vices. Burial will take place in the Pleasant Grove City cemetery. |
