Show share of laughs, Virginia Belea and Irene Ralston are attractive and give a good account of themselves as "tha girl he left behind" and "the high hat wife". The musical numbers this week could hold their own on any vaudeville vaude-ville bill. Slade and Ruth will do a clever double. Paul will sing a beautiful "Mother" song. James Allen will Bing another tenor solo written by the author of "Sombody's Baby" which he sang in "A. Sainted Sinner". Frank Anderson will do a snappy number with The Glendora Girls, and of course Toby will sing (?) something. There are two beautiful settings this week, and laBt but not least the Taylor Male Quartette. n Glendora Players To Present "The Squash Head" The author of "Honeymoon Ranch" and "A Sainted Sinner" has written another great show in "The Squash Head" The Glendora Players offering offer-ing next Thursday at the Cameo Theatre. If you liked "A Sainted Sinner" you'll like this new show for it's beautiful story and the lesson it teaches. If you preferred the broad co m e d y of "Honeymoon Ranch" you'll like "The Squash Head" because be-cause it has some of the funniest comedy situations you will ever see. Paul Taylor as a country lawyer who moves to the city and forgets his family, sweetheart and friends, for wealth and social position, gives a fine performance in a role somewhat similar to the parson in "A Sainted Sinner." Glen "Toby" Taylor has his funniest part yet. As Paul's countryfied brother who comes to visit him in his fine city home. "Toby" will cause more laughter than ever with his social errors and numerous fights with the stuck up servants and Paul's high toned wife. Dora has another old lady part as the mother of the boy who goes out into the world, and James Allan is the father. Frank Anderson and Jessie Davis will win you as a pair of young lovers. lov-ers. Slade Mike Taylor will be in the cast again this week, and altho his part isn't a big one he gets his |
