Show Green and Gold Ball The High School Gym was a riot of color Thursday evening in the annual Gold and Green Ball. Young women with pretty gowns of various colors lent beauty to the Gold ami Green decorations. The .festooned lights I with gold and green streamers were j jutstanding in the color scheme. Motifs of M. Men's work, Gleaner Girls, Beehive Girls and Boy Scouts I held prominent places in the color j scheme. Placards carrying the words ! honor, virtue, wisdom, courtesy, j strength, grace and humility, centered the window. Miss Marvel Atwood j made a beautiful queen, stately in bearing and gracious to her attend-j attend-j ants. The Misses Virgie Shoell, i Edna Gillman, Leda Hansen, Devona Bezzant and Anna Williams were j maids of honor with Lloyd West, S Randall Musgrove, Seldon Harris Ward Clark, LeRoy Smith as court attendants, Miss Bonnie Jensou was a graceful little torch bearer. The contest dance "Caprice" was demonstrated by members from live wards. The Columbians furnished the music, the hall was packed to capactt y. j The . veiling was typical of Mutual work and good .fellowship and was i most enjoyable for everyone. I |
