Show Joseph A. Dickerson of Nephi, spent the week-end here with his Tamily. Mrs. Ole Hanson spent the weekend week-end with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Erving Russon, at Magna. The M. I. A. union meeting will be held next Sunday afternoon in the stake tabernacle. All officers are urged to be present. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Evans of Cas-tlegate, Cas-tlegate, spent the week-end with Mrs. Evans' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert E. Harris. Mr. and Mrs. Justin Peay and Mr. md Mrs. Thomas Wilson of Garfield, Gar-field, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Pred C. Shoell Monday. The Misses Margaret and Emma irk of Salt Lake City, and Ezra ?. Walker were dinner guests Sun-lay Sun-lay of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Kirk. 5-iyLr."and Mrs. Alfred Downs of Jarstow, California, are visiting with Llr. Down's parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Downs. They expect to re-urn re-urn home the last of the week. Miss S,eva Downs will accompany them "or an indefinite visit. Mr. and Mrs. E. Vemon Holin-irake Holin-irake are receiving congratulations ya the arrival of a winsome baby iaughter born Monday, the 18th, at their home. Mother and babe are ioing nicely, and Papa Vern believes he will recover. I According to word received by relatives rela-tives here Dr. Brown Ingersoll was one of the eight men and women who passed exarriinations last month for licenses to practice dentistry and dental hygiene in Washington, D. C. The Lindon ward M. I. A. will present pre-sent three one-aot plays at the Lindon hall Thursday and Friday nights. On Thursday night all members mem-bers of the ward under 16 years of age will attend and on Friday night the ward members from 16 to 90 years of age. All aged over 60 years will be honor guests. The public from other wards is invited to attend at-tend the show. The Merry Makers met at the home of Mrs. Ann L. Chipman Friday af-tamnrai af-tamnrai last. The ladies spent the afternoon in making a quilt for Mrs. . Chipman. There were present aside from the regular members, Mrs. Lib-bie Lib-bie Makin, Mrs. Nellie Bassett, Mrs. Mary Miller, Mrs. May Crookston and Mrs. Golda Chipman. A delicious delic-ious supper was served, and a good time had by all present. Mr. and Mrs. Frank: Humphries, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Hansen, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Spafford, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Ellison, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Humphries, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brown were in attendance at the banquet given by the -state Florists Association Associa-tion at the Hotel Ben Lomond in Ogden Monday night. Messrs. Frank and Owen Humphries of the Humphries Hum-phries Floral Co. are members of the association. |
