Show Earl Holmstead Elected Lion President Earl Holmstead was elected president presi-dent of the American Fork Lions Club Thursday evening and with other newly elected officers will take over the new position following the regular meeting on April 26th. Other officers elected are: John Robinson, secretary; Orin Ashton, treasurer; Frank Gaisford, G. A. Anderson and S. T. Shelley vice-presidents; vice-presidents; Dr. H. M. Ramsay and Ben Moffett directors; Clarence A. Grant, tailtwister, E. Ray Gardner, Liontamer and David Davis, music : director. The officers are chosen for one year and direct the club affairs from the first meeting in May each year to and including the last meeting in April. Mr. Holmstead is a charter member mem-ber of the local club and has acted as tailtwister in the club since its organization. It has been his duty to keep things moving and interest aroused at all meetings. He won the honor of being the best tailtwister in the district and several times was selected to fill this position at district dis-trict meetings and conventions. |
