Show u Pleasant Grove First Ward Honor Night A large and appreciative audience attended the ward Honor Night held in the Pleasant Grove First ward Tuesday evening which meeting culminated the year's activity work. The following program was presented: pre-sented: Two one-act plays, "Tire j Conflict" and "The Friend of the j Family." Both were well presented and greatly enjoyed. "The Conflict' was under the direction of Miss Donna Olpin and included the following fol-lowing cast: Ruth West, Vada Hen-drickson, Hen-drickson, Jennie Hone and Eugene Walker. "Tire Friend of the Family" was directed by Miss Ruth Peterson, The players were : George Larsen, Louise West, Stanley Swenson, Annie Gardner, Gard-ner, Mark Gamett, Dezzie Adams, Naomi Driggs, Elizabeth Blackhurst and Elizabeth Oscarson. Muriel Hone represented the Gleaner Girls department on the public address, Leah Bezzant and Vada Hendricksen the Junior Girls on the retold story, and Ray Mills the Van Guards. Two instrumental trio's, consisting of harmonica, banjo and guitar, were given by Lee and Rex Gourley, and Orlas Sterner; and a vocal solo "Memories," by Russell Jacobs. Mrs. Martha K. Jones had charge of the activity program. The closing M. I. A. social will be held in the Tabernacle Tuesday evening, eve-ning, April 24. o |
