Show Impressive Funeral Services Held For Mrs. N. II. Heiselt Solemn and impressive were the funeral services held Thursday afternoon after-noon at 2 o'clock in the First ward chapel for Mrs. Mary Christensen Heiselt, wife of N. H. Heiselt, who died at the family residence in Salt Lake City Tuesday morning, October 1, of injuries received in an automobile automo-bile accident on South State street in Salt Lake last week. Bishop T. A. Greenwood was in charge of the services, which opened with the First Ward quartet singing "I Need Thee Every Hour". The opening prayer was given by Counselor Coun-selor W. S. Chipman of the Second ward. The next song "Come Unto Jesus" was sung by the quartet. The speakers were J. P. Aydelotte, Harry Russell of Salt Lake City, and President C. E. Young. Each of them conveyed many words of console-ment console-ment to those in bereavement. Interspersing ithe speakers, Mrs. Mae Halli'day sang a vocal solo "My Faith In Thee." Bishop Greenwood made closing remarks, after which the quartet sang '.Shall We Meet." The benedic. tion was pronounced by S. T. Baker. Interment was made in the City Cemetery, wtere Counselor W. S. Chipman dedicated the grave. In addition to the many American Fork friends who attended ithe services, ser-vices, a large number -of Salt Lake City relatives and friends were in attendance. Many flowers, both profuse pro-fuse and beautiful, banked the casket! cas-ket! and rostrum. Mrs. Heiselt was born in Gunnison, Utah, September 15, 1S65, and in 1881 moved to Colorado where she resided until 1904 when she returned to Utah and settled in this city. The family resided here since then until over a year ago, when they moved to Salt Lake City. Surviving are her husband, N. H. .Heiselt, two sons, Wallace T. Heiselt of American Fork, and Lawrence H. Heiselt of Salt Lake City; two brothers, A. H. Christensen and D. H. Christensen, both of Salt Lake, and nine grandchildren. |
