Show May 17 To Be High School Annual Bay, Full Day Of Activities Planned Friday, May 17, has been definitely announced as Alumni Day for the graduates of the American Fork high school. This was decided at a meeting meet-ing held of the committees Saturday evening, April 6, in the City Hall. The various committees responsible for the day's1 activities all presented their plans and announced that everything every-thing was well under way for a more celebrated event than the one staged last year. The following outline is a brief skeleton of the day's events: 10 a. m. to 11 a. m. Visiting classes. Renewing acquaintances. 11 a. m. to 12 m. Program. Ini- tiation stunts. 12 m to 1:30 p. m. Luncheon hour. Lunch served at high school. 1:30 p. m. to 3:30 p. m. Business meetings. Initiation. 7:30 p. m. to 9:30 p. m. Banquet. Election of new officers. 9:30 p. m. to midnights Dancing. Invitations will be sent out two weeks before the event, giving graduates gradu-ates ample time to prepare to attend. Due to an inadequate mailing list, some students may not receive an invitation. in-vitation. Graduates are asked to co-operate with the committee and 1 invito fellow class men, urge them to attend and do all they can to adver- tise the event. Those who perhaps may not receive an invitation through the mail are given a most cordiall welcome through these columns, and are asked to mail their reply before May 10 to the Alumni Historian, Mildred Mil-dred Dunkley, American Fork. Individual plates at the banquet are to be $1.25, which expense will not only include the dinner, but the dance, and will help defray mis- cellaneous expenses. A financial report, re-port, will be read at the banquet to clear any misconceptions anyone might have. Again, graduates are urged to plan to attend the coming event. With everyone working together, the outcome out-come will be permanent, living organization. |
