Show Pleasant Orove lias Guard Unit Complete Roster of Medical Detachment Detach-ment of Field Artillery Named. Pleasant Grove now boasts of medical med-ical detachment 222nd Field Artillery of the National Guard. Enthusiastic citizens have been working for two months to get the quota of men necessary. On Saturday Major Fred A. Prince inspected the company and gave it federal recognition. The corps consists of three captains, cap-tains, one staff sergeant, three sergeants, ser-geants, one corporal, six first class privates and twelve privates. These men have enlisted in the national guard for a term of three years, and are now training once every week. At present they are meeting in the high school gymnasium, but plans are underway for an up-to-date armory. During the month of June the company comp-any will meet with the entire regiment regi-ment of the national guard at Jordan Narrows where two weeks of intensive inten-sive training will be given.
