Show v Mr. and Mrs. Victor Johnson spent Sunday at Price, visiting with Mrs. Johnson's mother. Mr. and Mrs. LeGrande White and daughters, Beth and Nina, Mrs. Inez ioipin and daughter Donna, motored to Ephraim Wednesday to take Mrs. Mary Mcrtenson home. She has been visiting with the Olpin family. Mr. and Mrs. Howard N. Thorne ;and family of Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Sjoberg of Salt Lake, spent Sunday as guests of their mother, Mrs. Regina Thorne and ! other relatives here. j Mr. and Mrs. Vance Smith of Magna, Mag-na, spent Wednesday in Pleasant j Grove, guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. jSanford Walker. . . I Mr. and Mrs. Arvid Peterson and I family of Denver, Colorado, were 'guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Sjoberg. Mrs. Clecne Kirk entertained the Mothers club at her home Thursday evening. Mrs. Llna Clark gave a talk on the opera illustrated with phonograph records. The remainder of the time was spent in social chat. Delicious refreshments were served. i The Pleasant Grove 4-H Sewing I Club enjoyed a trip to Saratoga last Friday. Bathing and picnic luncheon formed the features of the good time. The teachers of this club are Eva Marie Conway and j Dorothy. Williamson. Mr. and Mrs. James D. Thorne returned re-turned Wednesday evening, July 11, from a month's trip to the World's Fair and eastern parts of the United States. They visited a week with their son, Wendell, in Washington, D. C. The C. C. C.'s held their meeting at the home of Helen Ellis on Tuesday. Tues-day. The meeting was called to order or-der by the president, after which a trip to Saratoga was discussed. I The leader checked all record books ! up to date and then the time was given to sewing. At the close of the i meeting punch, sandwiches and ' candy were served by two of the ' club members, Annis Harper and Helen Ellis. |
